Oh my goodness! The article about friends hit home so hard! I live in northwest Louisiana, just miles from both the Arkansas and Texas state lines. (Mike Johnson is my Congressman 😖). My hashtag on Peloton is #Bluedotinaredsea. If I weren’t friends with Republicans, I would have no friends. Even my husband is a Republican (who did not vote for Trump in 2016 and voted for Harris/Walz today.) 🥰 I have no family here but I have my sisters (one in NOLA and one in Madison, WI) as well as 2 nieces (in NOLA and Los Angeles) that I speak to and text regularly as well as a friend in Baton Rouge and we are all lifelong Democrats. That keeps me sane. I just don’t know what we will do if he is re-elected … I will not be able to stay here if that happens!
